The Armored Group, LLC (TAG) began as an armored vehicle manufacturer in 1992 so 2022 will start our third decade in business. Our focus began exclusively on the Cash-In-Transit (CIT) business, with the simple goal of providing each client with the highest level of security. TAG has kept that mindset and maintains the flexibility that ensures each of our customer\u2019s needs would be met. Within a short period, we established ourselves as the leading manufacturer of U.S. armored Cash-In-Transit vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving forward with our efforts, the company expanded into two other distinct markets. The first was law enforcement with SWAT, police and tactical vehicle manufacturing. The second was comprised of the high-end passenger vehicles and SUVs for private and corporate clients. Today, TAG has grown to become one of the largest full-line commercial armored truck suppliers in the country and continues to set the standard for customization, reliability, and protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most recently, TAG expanded into the military market and once again offers a diverse lineup of armored and unarmored vehicles. In addition, TAG offers vehicle systems, guard rooms and can even assist with armored maritime or aerial needs.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Our world-class engineering and design team has the capability and experience to plan and build everything from an armored pick-up truck to off-road 4\u00d74 armored personnel carrier (APC) vehicles and anything in between. TAG specializes in these three categories of bullet-resistant vehicles: military, law enforcement, personal protection vehicles, and cash-in-transit vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our global company specializes in developing and marketing armored vehicles in both the domestic (United States) and international markets. Today, we have manufacturing locations in key positions around the globe and this is how we are well positioned to compete with other companies in the U.S. and internationally on price, quality, and delivery time. The diversity we offer through different customization abilities as an armored vehicle manufacturer ensures that our customers will receive a vehicle best suited to their individual needs.<\/p>\n\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

The TAG vehicle manufacturing and sales teams are fully capable of reacting to the needs of our customers. By sharing knowledge between our plants, sales, and servicing locations in these different countries, we stay updated on new and changing technology as well as safety and security issues. We are proficient in assessing what works and what does not and our technicians take pride in our ability to make the rapid changes necessary to fit the needs of our customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our integrity is backed by stringent quality controls, proven manufacturing systems, and world-class certifications that meet the highest standards of safety. We are especially proud of our recent VPAM Edition 3 VR7 Certification of our Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series. This certification is based upon the rigorous and extreme testing of the independent ballistic testing laboratories of Beschussamt in Ulm, Germany. The testing included 9 blasts and over 580 ballistic rounds and there was zero penetration and the biofedelic dummy was still intact! It demonstrates our commitment to occupant safety and never being satisfied with the status quo. In addition, each of our production facilities is ISO 9001 certified. They are also managed by experienced professionals equipped to service customers and fulfill orders around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
